atFest26 is enriched by atTico, a new format designed to foster opportunities for knowledge sharing, learning, and engagement around the themes of new technologies and multimedia arts, preferably taking place in open and easily accessible spaces.The Italian word attico generally refers to a bright space located high above the ground, not easily accessible, inherently perceived as exclusive — but also potentially excluding.The project “transports” this space, together with its inherent element of light — an essential component of the multimedia scene — into a perceptual, mental, and physical dimension that is open to everyone and easy to access and experience.atTico is a project by the cultural association Code and will take place at Convitto Palmieri in Lecce.

Vito Santoro

FONEMI

Fonemi is the pseudonym of Vito Santoro, a musician and writer.
His musical research explores IDM, ambient, and electronic experimentation; through his parallel project, Sicarius Hahni, he delves into more radical sonic territories.
He has released music on Italian and international labels, including ADN Records, Noir Age, TXT, and Lett Records.
Passionate about electronics and synthesizers from a very young age, he built his first instrument by assembling components salvaged from old radios and tape recorders.
He is the designer and builder of a set of instruments conceived in collaboration with Paco Maddalena for Ambient Italia. Presented as prototypes at the latest edition of Ambient Days, they will be presented and performed live at ATFest 2026 in an enhanced and expanded form.

PACO MADDALENA

He works in the fields of cinema and music.
A graduate in Art History from the DAMS University of Bologna, he is a filmmaker and cinematographer working in the Italian film industry, as well as the author of films, documentaries, short films, commercials, music videos and installations. His work has received awards and recognition at Italian and international festivals, including the Globo d’Oro, the Venice Biennale, the Rome Film Festival, the Cefalù Film Festival, the Independent Film Festival of Latina, and URTICanti-festival of contemporary music.
He is also a composer of electroacoustic, generative and experimental music. Through the use of field recordings, analogue tape, synthesizers and Eurorack modular systems, his work spans audiovisual installations, film soundtracks, readings, theatre productions and video art.
He is President of AMBIENT ITALIA, an independent community dedicated to the research and promotion of ambient and experimental music, as well as the artistic director and founder of the AMBIENT DAYS festival and a member of the ZEUGMA collective. His music has been released by Laverna.net (IT), Camembert Électrique (FR), Owlripper Recordings (CZ), Audiovisioni Elettriche (IT), Zeugma (IT), Tempo Reale (IT), Shimmering Moods (NL) and Histamine Tapes (USA).
His upcoming work, scheduled for release in January 2027, will be published by the Polish label OKLA Records (PL).

Pietro Di Bello

MUTAFORM

MUTAFORM is the collective project of Pietro Di Bello, aka Peter Bell, where experimental electronics, ambient music, and sound research converge into an esoteric and cinematic imaginary. His compositions unfold through drones, immersive textures, and suspended soundscapes, evoking atmospheres that intertwine video game aesthetics, psychedelia, and contemporary ritualism. Active since 2010 and a member of AmbientItalia, MUTAFORM has performed in Rome, Bologna, Genoa, Milan, and Amsterdam. His productions are available on mutaform.bandcamp.com and as limited-edition physical CDs.
