THE PROJECT
A sonic shift from organic to synthetic. This piece begins deep within a living forest, captured through raw field recordings of wind, leaves, and wildlife from the Costa Otranto, Santa Maria di Leuca, and Bosco di Tricase Regional Natural Park. Gradually, the natural soundscape bends, warps, and dissolves into a more synthetic mixture.
It explores the blurring line between wilderness and technology in the modern world, beginning with familiar sounds of nature and by the end leaving the listener with an amalgam of sounds where nature is entirely consumed by the grid, only for it to emerge again from technology in an endless loop.
BIOGRAPHY
Multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer with an artistic approach rooted in interdisciplinarity, sonic experimentation, and free improvisation. His work explores the intersection between the organic qualities of acoustic instrumentation and the meticulous design of electronic music.
He has extensive experience creating soundscapes for the performing arts, film scores, and collective performance projects, while combining his artistic career with his work as a Radio Broadcast Technician at RTVE.
